Brunch is hands down my favorite meal to cook at home. Because I’m so passionate about making it myself, I rarely go out for brunch unless I’ve heard the place is pretty amazing. Farmhouse LA was one of those restaurants serving brunch I knew I wanted to try.
The main reason for this is that Farmhouse is known as the “ultimate farm-to-table restaurant.” I wholeheartedly care about where my food comes from, and after learning Farmhouse gets all of theirs from a small, local family farm, I had to make a visit.
While Farmhouse’s brunch menu circles around the classics, the quality of each dish is much higher than your standard brunch fare due to the sheer quality of the produce.
We ordered a handful of dishes to share, which is always my go-to strategy for brunch.

On the lighter end of things was this warm grain bowl, filled with quinoa, lentils, napa cabbage, cauliflower, zucchini, eggplant, and onion sprouts with a delicate sesame dressing. Refreshing yet hearty, and the perfect accompaniment to all other rich tasting food we ordered.

My favorite dish of the bunch was this vibrant steak & eggs. The steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare, and served on top of a schmear of fresh salsa verde. The acidity and tartness of this salsa complimented the fatty steak. Farmhouse opted for herb roasted fingerling potatoes as the potato accompaniment to this dish and I was for sure a fan.

The Farmer’s Breakfast Plate is really where Farmhouse shines. Fresh eggs, deep flavors in roasted veggies plus meaty bacon and grilled sourdough come come together for a plate of real, nourishing food.

Oh, and we had to order extra fingerling potatoes with spicy aioli because why not?
Next time you’re looking for a great, central brunch spot, head to Farmhouse LA in the Beverly Center. You will not be disappointed!
